Credit Card Checking: (optional)Requires a valid credit
card to open a bidding account. Recommended to verify legitimate participants
(over 18 years of age) and speed up the collection of winning bids.
Bid Extension: Individual items can be selected as
a "bid extended item" once a master switch is activated in the administration
section. When this is done, an obvious "bid-extension logo" appears
making it very clear that bids on this item will be extended past the
official close time depending on bid activity.
Staggered Close Time: Applies to both the menu categories
as a group or individual items. Allows the administrator to vary closing
times over many hours or even days to let bidders participate and bid
on more items.
Hot Item Lists: Shows items with a high level of bidding
activity on the front page as a participant enters the site or lists
"bid extended items". Visitors are prompted to begin bidding immediately
adding to the newspaper auction tempo.
Auction Rules Development: Every newspaper is different
and each newspaper auction requires a slightly different set of auction
rules. Auction Media assists in preparing these rules that (we suggest)
should be approved by a legal department before printing in the auction
pull-out-section and posting on the auction web site.
Data Entered through 128 Bit SSL: All bidder and credit
card holder information is collected through our 128-bit Secure Server
(SSL) and stored in a powerful off-line SQL database, ensuring security

Multiple Item Data Entry: Duplicate and uniquely number

Sales Person Tracking: Allows the sales manager to
monitor individual sales people leading up to the newspaper auction
to verify sales activity and completion of data fields required to enter
